The Kortz Center Heist rewards planning, and the Tactical Equipment prep is where one important choice begins. It is optional for most routes, but you will need it if your crew intends to enter the Bell Building through the rooftop skylight. Secure the Thermite First

Burton is not a quiet pickup. Take a moment to find cover before moving towards the van, then deal with the guards and collect the thermite from the rear. Once it is in your possession, the mission sends you to a Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement office. You can force your way through the front entrance, but that route creates a loud fight straight away. There is a quieter option, although it takes a little nerve.

Use the Camera to Get Inside

Stand in front of the exterior camera shown on the minimap. The enforcers will arrest you, remove your weapons, and place you in a holding cell. From there, the lockpicking section starts. Move the thumbsticks in the directions shown on screen. If you have played the "Did Somebody Say Yoga" mission in story mode, the system will feel familiar. After opening the cell, grab the firearms from the desk. The guards will notice, so be ready for a close-range fight.

Reach the Equipment Room

Push towards the manager's office and attach the thermite to the locked door. Do not rush the process; wait until the lock has burned through, then clear the room before taking the blue duffel bag. The garage downstairs usually holds the toughest resistance. Keep moving between cover points, and watch the bag if you are taken out. It can land nearby, and the escape cannot continue until you collect it.

Choose an aircraft or an Armored Kuruma for the return journey.

Return to the Mansion

Once outside, hostile pursuers will appear on the drive back. An Oppressor Mk II or helicopter lets you travel above much of the danger, while the Armored Kuruma offers solid protection on the road. Delivering the bag to the Mansion unlocks rappelling gear, night vision, spare thermite, and tools for disabling exhibition-room cameras.
