Dungeon farming is one of the main ways to earn Kina in AION 2, but repeating the same content all week does not guarantee the same payout. The Cumulative Play Reward Adjustment system gradually reduces Kina earnings after you reach specific activity thresholds. If you want to make every run count, understanding these limits is essential. Knowing when to switch activities can help you manage dungeon rewards, save resources, and decide when investing in Aion 2 Items makes sense for your progression.

How Does Cumulative Play Reward Adjustment Work?

The system tracks your cumulative dungeon activity and lowers Kina rewards as your weekly clear count increases. Instead of blocking you from entering a dungeon, it reduces the amount of currency you receive.

The reward rates follow five stages:

• 100% Kina: Full rewards before reaching the first threshold.
• 80% Kina: A moderate reduction after additional runs.
• 60% Kina: Earnings drop further as activity increases.
• 40% Kina: Repeated farming becomes less rewarding.
• 20% Kina: The lowest listed Kina reward rate.

These adjustments reset weekly, allowing players to start the next cycle with full-rate rewards again. Keep in mind that cumulative play adjustments are separate from Odyle Energy, dungeon entry limits, and reward claims. Before spending an entire session farming, check which restrictions currently apply.

Expedition Kina Reward Thresholds

Expedition content allows players to complete a larger number of runs before reaching the lowest reward bracket. According to the October 10 Game8 guide, the weekly thresholds are:

• 0–83 clears: 100% Kina rewards.
• 84–104 clears: 80% Kina rewards.
• 105–125 clears: 60% Kina rewards.
• 126–146 clears: 40% Kina rewards.
• 147 or more clears: 20% Kina rewards.

The 83-clear mark is particularly important if you are farming Expedition or Conquest content primarily for currency. Once your count reaches 84, compare the reduced payout with the time required for another run. Transcendence Kina Reward Thresholds

Transcendence has a separate counter, and its reward reductions begin earlier than those for Expedition. The October guides list the following brackets:

• 0–55 clears: 100% Kina rewards.
• 56–69 clears: 80% Kina rewards.
• 70–83 clears: 60% Kina rewards.
• 84–97 clears: 40% Kina rewards.
• 98 or more clears: 20% Kina rewards.

Because the two counters are separate, reaching a reduced reward bracket in Transcendence does not automatically mean Expedition rewards have dropped to the same rate. Check both before deciding where to spend your remaining playtime.

Also, these percentages refer to the Kina adjustment, not every reward inside a dungeon. Do not assume equipment drops or other materials are reduced by the same percentage unless the game explicitly confirms it.

How to Farm Dungeons More Efficiently

A little planning can help you avoid wasting time on activities that no longer provide the returns you need.

1. Check your current reward rate. Review the dungeon interface before starting another series of runs. Use the displayed values as your primary reference, especially if a patch changes the system.
2. Track Expedition and Transcendence separately. One activity may still provide full Kina while the other has already entered a reduced bracket. Switch accordingly if currency is your main objective.
3. Balance Kina against other rewards. A dungeon may remain worthwhile for equipment, materials, or progression even after its currency payout falls. Consider the complete reward package rather than Kina alone.
4. Manage Odyle Energy and reward claims. These resources affect your farming options independently of cumulative play adjustments. Plan around your available resources instead of assuming every available run offers maximum rewards.
5. Improve your build before pushing harder content. Stronger equipment and a suitable skill setup can shorten clear times, making your available farming sessions more productive. If you are comparing cheap Aion 2 Items, prioritize upgrades that address your character's actual weaknesses rather than buying items without a clear purpose.

October Update: Easier Boss Encounters

The October 28 update reduced boss attack values in several Expedition and Transcendence difficulties. It also lowered boss HP in Transcendence Stages 1–2, making these encounters more manageable for players progressing through the content.

These combat adjustments do not remove the weekly Kina reduction system. Faster clears can improve your farming efficiency, but they do not restore a reduced reward rate. Before your next session, check the current dungeon difficulty, your cumulative counts, and your remaining resources.
